Pain_inlineThe 3rd annual Pain McShlonkey Classic at Squaw Valley was one of the best PMS events yet, and truly lived up to its title of being the Greatest Ski Competition Known to Man or Woman.

Between the on and off-mountain antics, this action packed event went off as a hilarious tribute to legendary skier Shane McConkey, as pros and amateurs battled for the highly coveted Golden Saucer trophy and ultimate bragging rights.

McConkey was the mastermind behind the original Pain McShlonkey Open which debuted in 2003 and featured a Switch GS, a Saucer Small Air and the timeless Chinese Downhill. What began as a behind-the-scenes, late-night race between competitors at the 1998 Winter X Games has evolved into a beloved event, attracting athletes from around the world.

Thanks to everyone who came out to support this year’s event, and congratulations to all of the winners from the 3rd annual PMS.
